I love 8-bit music. Something I can pretty much solely contribute to how much Nintendo (aka Video-Crack) I played as an over-gamed product of the 90's who, like millions of kids strung out on frosted flakes, was way too into flashing shit.

If you're like me and you're a die-hard Nintendo fan, then you will love vNES. Short for VirtualNES, vNES allows you to play many of those great old-school Nintendo games you miss so much. For those of you who are familiar with the extreme awesomeness of Game Emulators, vNES differs in a great way: you can play many of your favorite old games right in your browser, using your keyboard as the controler!

Perhaps the most extensive website for in-browser gaming I've come across is The Smartass. This site is great because it is not limited to only Nintendo games, but also TurboGrafx 16, Sega Genesis and more! This site also offers a great selection of online videos and other shit to keep you occupied this winter.

I was really excited when I checked my email this morning. Whenever Boston's Hot Pink Delorean sends us an email, it pretty much screams "New Banger!!" I'll admit I got extra giddy when I saw TWO new emails from the Boston Trio. But wait!! the giddiness doesn't stop there: I click the first email only to realize that Chitown's very own B-More rapper Hollywood Holt gets the HPD treatment.

Complete with the HPD signature extremely distorted bassline that is so angry, it might slap you in the face, only to go after your mother thereafter....But the bassline isn't the only angry thing about this track. Holt brings it to the mic scoffing about his jewelry, his style, threats to take your girl from you and even....oh god no! He and Mano threaten to robot not only in your face, but every damn person in the fuckin' club!
(which has actually been a dream of mine since, oh, about 1995)

A1 Bassline, Pendelum, Crookers, etc. The UK's Aquasky bring us a bouncy, grungy November Mix complete with endless hot basslines, catchy samples and even a shotgun blast. A flood of emotions overtook me last night in Grant Park, downtown Chicago. The air was electric. As soon as word reached the ecstatic crowd's ears of McCain's conceding, cheering ensued; some laughed as others cried. Fists shot in the air and hugs were given. Race meant nothing as all people shared in the celebrations.

Thousands took to the streets chanting O-Ba-Ma! O-Ba-Ma! Police stood in groups, unable to keep smiles off their faces. History was made last night as the world looked down upon Chicago, and I'm so happy I was there to see it...no -- live it!
